A unique five-day trip to the heart of Switzerland! Specially designed for the period around October 28. An itinerary full of sights and experiences, combining cosmopolitan cities, medieval historic centers, majestic natural landscapes, serene lakes, and the breathtaking routes of the Swiss Alps. Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, is built on the shores of Lake Zurich and is crossed by the Limmat River. The well-preserved historic center, the elegant boulevards, historic churches, luxury shops, and lakeside promenades come together to form a city that uniquely blends tradition with the modern European lifestyle. Basel, built on both banks of the Rhine, stands out for its historic center, colorful buildings, imposing City Hall, and long cultural tradition. The Rhine Falls are one of Switzerland’s most important natural attractions and Europe’s largest waterfall in terms of water volume. The waters plunge from a height of 23 meters across a width of approximately 150 meters, creating a unique spectacle. We’ll visit Bern, the country’s historic capital, and romantic Lucerne, with its famous wooden bridge and beautiful lake. We’ll also have the chance to enjoy one of Europe’s most beautiful train journeys, traveling on the Rhaetian Railway through the mountainous landscape of the Swiss Alps. The region’s railway network crosses imposing bridges, valleys, and tunnels and is, in its own right, one of Switzerland’s most significant attractions. Our itinerary concludes with a visit to the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein and its capital, Vaduz, as well as historic St. Gallen, with its famous monastery complex and Baroque library. The four consecutive nights in Zurich offer us comfort and relaxation, without the constant need to change hotels or lug around luggage. We’ll begin our tour in the old town, where we’ll stroll through picturesque alleys, small squares, and distinctive buildings. We’ll see the impressive Marktplatz and Basel’s bright red City Hall, with its elaborate murals and distinctive tower. Continuing on, we’ll reach the imposing Basel Cathedral, with its two Gothic towers and colorful roof tiles.
