Our tour begins in the historic center and at the famous Marienplatz, the square where the heart of the city beats. We’ll see the impressive New Town Hall, the Old Town Hall, St. Peter’s Church, and other landmarks of the Old Town. As we stroll through Munich’s historic streets, we’ll have the chance to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Bavarian capital, with free time for lunch, coffee, or souvenir shopping. We then depart for Switzerland and the beautiful city of St. Gallen, known for its rich cultural heritage and its internationally renowned university. DAY 2Lucerne – Bern

After breakfast at the hotel, we set out on a wonderful excursion to two of Switzerland’s most beautiful cities: Lucerne and Bern. Today is dedicated to authentic Swiss beauty, with landscapes featuring lakes, rivers, mountains, and well-preserved historic centers. Our first stop is Lucerne, one of the country’s most romantic and frequently photographed cities. Built on the shores of Lake Lucerne and surrounded by Alpine scenery, Lucerne looks like something out of a fairy tale. We’ll stroll through the Old Town with its colorful facades, picturesque alleys, and historic squares. We’ll see the famous wooden Chapel Bridge, City Hall, St. Peter’s Church, the medieval wine market, the Franciscan and Jesuit churches, and the Hofkirche. Next, following a beautiful route, we’ll continue on to Bern, the federal capital of Switzerland. Built on a striking bend in the Aare River, with the Alps as a backdrop, Bern is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe. Its Old Town has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. Our tour begins in the Bärenplatz area, continues toward Bundesplatz and the imposing Swiss Federal Parliament building, and then takes us through the city’s historic streets. We’ll see the Cathedral, the Käfigturm, Marktgasse, and Kramgasse, with their characteristic arcades, stone buildings, historic fountains, and sculptures that bear witness to the city’s former glory. We won’t miss the famous Tower with the astronomical clock, as well as the area around the Nydeggbrücke bridge, near the well-known Bear Park. After the tour, we return to Zurich. Overnight stay.

DAY 3Chur – Alpine Train Route – St. Moritz

Today is dedicated to one of the most impressive experiences of the trip: the ride on the famous Alpine Train to St. Moritz. Those who wish can enjoy some free time in Zurich. For those joining the optional full-day excursion, we’ll set out in the morning for Chur, Switzerland’s oldest city and the starting point of our Alpine adventure. From there, we’ll board the traditional Alpine train and embark on a journey of unparalleled beauty. The landscape is constantly changing: lush green valleys, Alpine villages, lakes, forests, bridges, and mountains create a scene that will stay with you forever. This is one of the most beautiful train journeys in Europe, ideal for those who want to experience Switzerland in its most authentic and spectacular form. Arrival in cosmopolitan St. Moritz, one of the world’s most famous resorts. Perched at an altitude of approximately 1,580 meters, with luxurious hotels, quaint chalets, and a sophisticated atmosphere, St. Moritz fully lives up to its reputation as the “top of the world.” We’ll have free time to stroll through town, have a meal, enjoy a coffee, or shop at the elegant boutiques. Those who wish can further enjoy the Alpine atmosphere by sipping a hot chocolate or taking in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. In the afternoon, we return to Zurich by bus. Overnight stay.

DAY 4Zurich - City Tour - Tri-Border Area - Basel

After breakfast, we head to the center of Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city and one of the most elegant, well-organized, and high-quality cities in Europe. Our tour begins in the area around the central train station and continues along the banks of the Limmat River, which flows through the heart of the city. We’ll see the impressive City Hall, the historic guild houses, St. Peter’s Church with its famous clock, the Grossmünster Cathedral, as well as the Fraumünster Church, known for its stunning stained-glass windows by Marc Chagall. Next, we’ll see the Opera House and end up at Lake Zurich, one of the city’s most beautiful and beloved spots. There will be free time for a stroll, coffee, lunch, or shopping. We’ll then depart for Basel, located at the point known as the “Tri-Border Area,” right on the border with France and Germany, and home to most of the country’s museums. Its landmark is the Rhine River, which originates in the southeastern Swiss Alps and continues its journey northward to the Netherlands, where it flows into the North Sea after a journey of 1,320 km. Our tour of Basel, one of Switzerland’s most elegant and cultured cities, begins with a panoramic tour that introduces us to the city’s distinctive skyline, where three countries meet: Switzerland, France, and Germany. Our first stop is the Old Town, one of the best-preserved in Europe, full of cobblestone streets, Renaissance buildings, and romantic squares. Basel Cathedral stands out, with its twin towers and distinctive red stone—a landmark of the city, from which we enjoy a panoramic view of the Rhine. We continue with a stroll along the banks of the Rhine, the “heart” of Basel, walking to the city’s oldest bridge (Mittlere Brücke). Here we can admire the sight of the colorful houses reflected in the river’s waters. We’ll head to the central Marktplatz square, where the impressive City Hall stands out with its red facade and ornate details. Afterward, we’ll have some free time in the city center. In the afternoon, we’ll head back to our hotel. Overnight stay

DAY 5Zurich – Rhine Falls – Stein am Rhein – Return flight

After breakfast, we depart from Zurich for a day filled with stunning views, natural beauty, a medieval atmosphere, and authentic Swiss charm. Our first stop is one of the most remarkable natural attractions in Switzerland and all of Europe: the famous Rhine Falls, known as the Rheinfall. The Rhine, one of the most important rivers on the European continent, originates in the Swiss Alps, flows through countries, cultures, and historical regions, and empties into the North Sea in the Netherlands. At this point, however, it reveals one of its most dynamic and spectacular forms. The Rhine Falls are considered the largest waterfalls in Europe and offer a truly mesmerizing sight. The volume of water, the deafening sound, the power of the flow, and the lush green landscape surrounding them create a unique experience. We’ll have time to enjoy the scenery, take photos at the designated viewing spots, and feel the power of nature up close, in a setting that looks like it’s straight out of a postcard. Next, we’ll continue our journey to the beautiful Stein am Rhein, one of Switzerland’s most picturesque medieval villages, built on the banks of the Rhine. Northern Switzerland, strongly influenced by German architecture and tradition, has preserved unique examples of medieval aesthetics. It is no coincidence that many call Stein am Rhein the “Rothenburg of Switzerland,” as it is one of the country’s most beautiful small towns. Our tour of the historic center will transport us to another era. Cobbled streets, well-preserved buildings, wooden elements, ornate facades, and an Old World European atmosphere come together to create a unique setting. The heart of the city beats in the central Rathausplatz, where the impressive City Hall building stands out. With its size, architecture, and the paintings adorning its facade, it is a true gem of the city. With our minds full of images, beautiful memories, and the feeling that we’ve discovered some of Switzerland’s most unique corners, we head to Zurich Airport. There, we’ll board Aegean’s afternoon direct flight for our return journey, bringing to a close a trip filled with landscapes, cities, history, nature, and unique experiences.
