Prague in Full Color: Spring & Summer in the “City of a Thousand Spires”
When spring arrives in Prague, the city awakens from its winter slumber in an almost magical way. The hills of Petřín are draped in white and pink from the cherry blossoms, and we can’t wait to lose ourselves in the elegant Vrtba Garden and Valdštejn Garden, where the scents of the flowers mingle with the quiet charm of the Baroque statues. The light falls gently on the rooftops of Malá Strana, and the banks of the Vltava become the perfect setting for romantic strolls.
As we move toward summer, Prague transforms into an open-air celebration. We cross the enchanting Charles Bridge under the bright sun, while street musicians set the rhythm for our wanderings. In the lush green gardens of Letná Park, we enjoy an ice-cold Czech beer with a panoramic view of the city’s bridges, as the sunsets paint the sky with golden-red hues behind the Gothic towers.
Our journey isn’t limited to the capital. We discover the grandeur of Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, wander through the alleys of the Old Town, enjoy a cruise on the Vltava River, and, optionally, we explore the romantic Český Krumlov and the cosmopolitan Karlovy Vary, where nature and architecture combine to create scenes of unparalleled beauty.
