PRAGUE… This is a city that has so much to offer, which is why thousands of tourists from all over the world visit it every year. Meet at the airport at 12:00 p.m. and fly to the Austrian capital, Vienna. Board our bus and begin our tour on the famous Ringstrasse. During the tour, we will follow a circular route, during which we will explore, one by one, the most important buildings of the so-called historic center. We will see the Museum of Applied Arts, City Park, the Imperial Palace, the State Opera House, the Academy of Fine Arts, the Winter Palace, Maria Theresa Square with its twin buildings, the Museum of Art History and the Museum of Natural History, the Parliament, City Hall, the Imperial Theater, and the Neo-Gothic Church of the Vow. We will then have free time in the city center for lunch. Check-in at our hotel. Overnight stay.
Breakfast at our hotel, then we’ll board the bus, from which we’ll once again admire the famous Ringstrasse (Ring Road). Next, we’ll make our first stop at the famous Schönbrunn Palace, where we’ll have the chance to admire and take photos in the palace gardens. Next, we’ll head to what is widely considered the city’s most beautiful Baroque palace, the Belvedere. There, we’ll take a short walk to the main building and the gardens. Next, we’ll arrive at Sweden Square, where, with the help of our guide, we’ll explore the picturesque alleys of the old Greek Quarter, pass by the two Greek Orthodox churches and the Rigas Feraios Monument, and end up at the famous St. Stephen’s Cathedral, a landmark of the Austrian capital. Free time in the city center for strolling, coffee, dining, and souvenir shopping. Overnight stay.
Breakfast and departure for the “Golden City,” Prague. Upon arrival, we will begin our first tour of the city, which is a living open-air museum of architecture.
We’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel, and our tour will begin with two of Prague’s most important landmarks: Strahov Monastery and Loreto, one of the country’s most popular pilgrimage sites. We continue with a tour of Hradčany, the city’s Acropolis, which crowns the hill of Malá Strana. We will see Schwarzenberg Palace, the former residence of the Bohemian kings, later home to Maria Theresa, and now the Presidential Palace. Next is the imposing St. Vitus Cathedral, the oldest Gothic cathedral in Central Europe, and the Chapel of St. Wenceslas, patron saint of the country. We will pass by St. George’s Church and the palaces where the Kings of Bohemia once resided.
We continue our tour with the "Lesser Town" (Malá Strana), one of the oldest historic districts in Prague, where we will admire the imposing Baroque Church of St. Nicholas from the outside and walk across the picturesque Gothic Charles Bridge through the medieval streets of "Royal Route." King Vladislav II built the first bridge over the Vltava River in 1170, the Judith Bridge, which collapsed in 1342. The Charles Bridge was later built on its foundations. Spend the rest of the time in the picturesque alleys or join us on an unforgettable optional cruise on the Vltava River, which whispers its history in our ears and recounts the secrets of the picturesque bridges and buildings that have embraced it for so many years.
Breakfast, then we board our bus bound for the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. Built on the banks of the Danube, the small, beautiful city of Bratislava has traditionally been a very important Hungarian city known as Pozsony, as the coronation of a total of 10 Hungarian kings and one queen took place in St. Martin’s Cathedral from 1563 to 1830. That is why, in many of the cobblestone streets of the old medieval city, you will see a small crown on the ground marking the so-called Royal Road. After visiting the city’s castle, which towers atop a towering hill, we will enter the main medieval town through St. Michael’s Gate and end up at St. Martin’s Cathedral.
Next, we will see the main square, Hlavne Namestie, and the statue of Napoleon Bonaparte. In the same square, we will admire the Romanesque building of the old town hall. The rest of the tour will keep us thoroughly engaged as, in the alleys of the old medieval town, we’ll learn the story behind three bronze statues: Cumil the sewer worker, Paparazzi, and Schoner Naci. The tour will conclude at the imposing National Opera House. Free time, followed by departure for Budapest. Transfer to the hotel, check-in, and free time. Overnight stay.
We’ll have breakfast at our hotel and begin our tour at the monumental Heroes’ Square, home to the Millennium Monument. Next, we’ll visit St. Stephen’s Basilica, Andrassy Avenue with the Opera House, the massive Neo-Gothic Parliament Building, and the bridges connecting Buda and Pest. Immediately afterward, we will head to Buda, where we will admire the Castle, the Statue of Liberty, the National Gallery, the Fishermen’s Bastion, and the historic Matthias Church. Next, we’ll head to Gellert Hill, where we’ll take in the panoramic view. Free time in the city center. This will be followed by an optional night tour, “Budapest by Night,” where we’ll board a boat for a cruise on the Danube, admiring the sights under the city lights. Overnight stay.
Breakfast at our hotel, and today we’ll visit the famous Parndorf Outlet Village. There you’ll find all the top brands at unbeatable prices, and you’ll have free time for shopping. We will then depart for Vienna Airport. Return flight.
